Fig 4.4: Select from any of the two to have access to template library
As you select any of them, a new window opens which shows you some page templates. Some of these templates are free while others are not. If you are building with free elementor plugin, you have to pay before you can use those templates that have Agency tagged on them.
Fig 4.5: Template library of elementor page builder
Using the search box by the top right-hand corner of the template library, type in the name of the template you need. For example, you can type the word “blog” and some blog temples will be shown to you.
You can click on any of the templates you like among the list. Sometimes when you click on any of them, you are shown sub parts of that template. This can be “Home”, “About”, “Contact” and “Service” . You can choose the Home because we are building a Home page. But if it is Contact , you then choose contact sub template part.
Also, since we are building the homepage of the website in this teaching, you can type in “Home” in the search box and home templates will display. From there you can make your choice. Click on any of the templates you like and select Import . This will make the template to be imported to the page.
Step 8
Edit the imported template and save
The imported page builder comes with default pictures and words on it. You can edit these pictures and words to your own taste. For the text, take your cursor to the part you want to make changes on, click on that part and some functions will show up. Among them is the pen-like design. Click on that pen-like button, delete the words you do not like and replace them with yours. You can even delete any module you do not like. You can click on the default pictures you do not like on the page builder and then replace them with your own pictures.
Step 8
Click on Publish button to save changes
When you finish editing the page, just click on the green publish button to save your changes.
